Box of Dreams Curator Tour, Fri 15 May 2026, 11am – 12pm, £4, The Goldsmiths’ Centre

Join jewellers Ella Fearon-Low and Jed Green for a guided tour of Box of Dreams, a unique jewellery and silversmith-led pop-up exhibition at the Goldsmiths’ Centre. During this special tour, the two curators will share the ideas behind the exhibition and explore how the theme of containment unfolds across the works on display.

Box of Dreams brings together a group of talented makers working across jewellery, silver, wood, textiles and glass. By combining precious and non-precious materials, the exhibition highlights the breadth and diversity of contemporary craft practice in the UK, and reflects on the many ways boxes and vessels hold our ideas, treasures and secrets.

At the heart of the exhibition is a specially curated display titled Box of Dreams, which explores both conceptual and literal interpretations of containment. Set within the Goldsmiths’ Centre’s contemporary event space, home to more than 120 makers and businesses working with precious metals, the exhibition offers visitors a chance to encounter the work of leading craftspeople and artists working today.

The exhibition features jewellery and silversmithing by Morvarid Alavifard, Ane Christensen, Ella Fearon-Low, Jed Green, Jo McAllister, Caitlin Murphy, Francicsa Onumah, Sarah Pulvertaft, Inca Starzinsky and Elsa Tierney. The curated Box of Dreams display also includes works by artists Richard McVetis, Zoe Arnold and Carola Solcia.

Do you record or broadcast events?

We run our events in person at the Goldsmiths’ Centre and online, so that as many of our community as possible can exchange ideas, learn from industry experts, and form valuable connections across the UK. We do not record these events, or broadcast them, to encourage the open sharing of ideas and experiences and preserve confidentiality. Popular topics will be repeated over time.

Do you have any access requirements?

If you have any access requirements, please inform us as early as possible so we can make the necessary arrangements.
