Unlocking Creativity through Mindfulness: Being in the Present Moment, Wed 15 October 2025, 7–8.30pm, £20, Online, UK time
Connect with the theme of experimentation and play through close looking in this workshop with Limina Collective, specialists in mindful art observation. Explore Annibale Carracci’s Four Studies of Heads and discover how looking, drawing, or writing can help you arrive in the present moment, deepening your connection with art and creativity. Examine the sensory experience of the here and now and learn how to use art to create daily mindful moments.
The workshop begins with guided meditation and includes focused, mindful observation of Carracci’s drawing. You’ll explore mindfulness techniques that enhance creativity and self-compassion, with time for reflection and discussion.
Attend individually or as part of a mini-course, based on Jon Kabat-Zinn’s mindfulness principles: paying attention on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally. Experience how engaging with art can boost mindfulness and wellbeing.
