Jacqueline Cullen is an award-winning jeweller who has specialised in Whitby jet for over 18 years and is now expanding into hardstones such as agate and labradorite. She received funding from the Goldsmiths’ Centre to undertake lapidary (stone cutting) training up in Whitby.

As part of the Goldsmiths’ Centre’s programme of Creative Inspiration Workshops, Jacqueline is offering experience visits to her Central London studio. The event will provide a practical insight into the life of a jeweller working in heritage and natural materials. From inspiration board to the final collections, via a demonstration of cutting and shaping jet/stone. Visitors will be given the opportunity to have a go cutting and grinding a small piece of jet and stone. No experience is require - don’t wear white!
